The Office Works is proud to support the Multiple Sclerosis Society, we have been working with them since the end of 2009 with the aim to help them reduce and control the operating costs. We have been able to cut their annual expenditure by ¬£15,000.00 per annum; enabling the MS Society to redirect those funds straight back into research, support and their goals.

Environmental policy of the office works for 2013
The Office Works is a company who specialise in the supply of business products from office stationery, office furniture, corporate printing and promotional gifts & merchandise. We aim to exceed our customer‚Äôs expectations everyday by delivering real service today and tomorrow.
Due to the company‚Äôs commitment to care for the environment, we have been awarded with the ‚ÄúCarbon Smart‚ÄĚ stamp of approval.
With the ever increasing climate change and other environmental threats, The Office Works have undertaken a 3 year carbon reduction programme with CARBON SMART
It is our aim to achieve the highest status in the SO-GO-ECO carbon reduction programme for our Ruslip Operation and subsequently during our 2nd year we have reduced our absolute emissions by a further 0.06 tonnes CO2e, which is one of the lowest in our industry.
We know that our business model and efficiencies deliver a lower impact on the environment than the traditional business models and acting as a role model, we will actively encourage our suppliers and clients new and old, to embrace in a carbon reduction program and consider the way that their business impacts on the environment.
We will continue to comply with current legislation and follow good practices with a continual improvement and aim to:-
- Endeavour to switch to a zero landfill scheme
- Highlight awareness internally through our action plan of the steps we need to take to reduce our carbon footprint
- Communicate with our customers through our website and sales team what our targets are and encourage them to participate in our 3 year programme.
- Encourage and promote green travel with staff and customers
- Provide regular and effective communication to staff and customers and ensure that responsibilities and personal targets are set and understood
The action plan will be communicated to our staff and suppliers through our website, and posting on our So-Go-Eco Action Board at our premises in Ruslip.
The So-Go-Eco Action Board will show our commitments, policies action plan along with the subsequent results.
Our new environmental policy will be published and shown in our reception area, in general communications and on our website, also a full annual review will take place alongside a quarterly action plan review.
