The Customer:

Customs Clearance BoardroomFurniture & Interiors

The Customs Clearance existing boardroom was a very plain and empty space. They wanted to change the fit and feel of the space to reflect their company image. They also wanted to use the space for the filming of CCLTV posted on their social media platforms. Having worked in the building on numerous occasions the office works were asked to redesign the current room to have a modern, professional and corporate feel.

The Process

Site Visit:

The customer sent through some images of their current boardroom set up and a telephone conversation was arranged to discuss the vision and requirements of the re-design. From the phone call the key needs and wants of the customer were gathered and the design planning was begun.

Design Planning:

As the room was going to be used for filming, an acoustic feature wall was fitted to ensure the sound quality crisp and clear. Glass Panels printed With the company logo were added to adjacent walls to complement the look. The room was repainted and new floor was laid to give a clean and clear look for the videos.

AV power and cable sockets were added to the clients requirements.

A custom-built coffee unit was designed to fit the customs exact needs. A new boardroom table with chairs was chosen for a corporate feel and  leather sofas were procured to complete the look.

For some finishing touches a branded lectern was added and neon on air sign was installed above the door so other people in the building knew when filming was taking place

Delivery and Install:

The delivery and install covered a 2 week time period

Initial works were to lift the floor and make good the surfaces, the new floor was laid and the panels and cupboards fitted.

A Few Kind Words

I was extremely happy with the project, Office Works were spot on with the design based on the brief that I gave them and came up with some new and innovative ideas to make the space the modern and usable area that we needed.  The communication was on point from start to finish and the final finished room exceeded our expectations.
